Mr. Peanut (100th Anniversary) : As part of its 100th Anniversary in 2006, Planters commissioned a life-size commemorative statue of Mr. Peanut. This is the first statue of its kind and it is to be mounted on the Atlantic City boardwalk in Kennedy Plaza where the city will rename a stretch of the boardwalk "Planters Way." : Sold
Mr. Peanut : The sculpture has a steel and foam core with a very strong fiberglass and resin coating. It was painted with bronze powders and an automotive clear-coat. The integrity of this statue's construction is second only to a true bronze cast without the immense cost. I was hired by UpstageRight Productions to create the statue. : Sold
Greco-Roman Busts : Six Greco-Roman Busts built as set pieces for The Wilma Theater's November 2005 production of Shakespeare In Hollywood. Lightweight foam carved and painted in a dramatic style to look like marble and gilded bronze. Approx. 40-inches tall each.

African Mask : 24-inch African mask built for Contemporary Stage Company's 2005 summer production of The Fourposter. It is constructed completely from found materials like newspaper, cardboard and fabric and painted to look archaic.
Soldier : Vacuform mold of a life-size soldier carved for Music and Art's 2006 touring production of Still Life with Commentator. This is ultra-dense foam that was carved on only one side so that heated sheets of clear plastic could be molded to it and then removed after cooling (Vacuforming). 50 separate soldier sculptures were created which were all backlit and hung and made to look like floating apparitions.

Self-Portrait Bust : A self-portrait clay sculpture I made so I could experiment with new casting materials like polyester resins, silicone molds, FMG, and a few of my own plastic encapsulant/fiberglass/colloidal silica recipes. 18-inches tall.
Self-Portrait Bust (Detail) : Cold cast bronze, before patina is applied.
Acrobat Stage Set : This image is part of the set I designed and helped construct and paint for UpstageRight Productions for an outdoor Busch Gardens Amusement Park acrobat show. It is all exterior grade steel, wood and foam.
